Public School Districts versus Charter Schools

There were 389 charter schools, 614 public school districts. Charter schools have a lower mean exclusion grade (45.4) and a lower median (30.) than public school districts (57.08 and 60.0 respectively). That means on average Charter schools performed worse than public schools. The difference in exclusion grade between public schools and charter schools is statistically significant (p<.0).
