A racial disparity rate was calculated for Exclusions. Exclusions include out-of-school suspensions and expulsions. .   A rate was calculated using the race with the highest rate and the race with the lowest rate The lowest of the rate was divided into the highest of the rate. If the lowest rate was 0 than the highest rate was divided by zero A grade was assigned based on that calculated rate. If a school had no racial disparity rate it was assigned “0".  The choice to give those schools a zero was  done to not-privilege the lack of diversity or the failure to report.  Where the group with the highest rate was greater than zero, and the group the lowest zero the highest number was divided by .1  Since mathematically 0 cannot be divided into any number. Finally, even if the racial disparity favor non-whites schools were penalized.

Assigned grade   Racial Disparity Rate
100 0 0.94
80 0.95 1.94
60 1.95 6.94
40 6.95 11.44
20 11.95 16.94
0 >=16.95

Finally, penalty points were subtracted. The penalty points were calculated by dividing the racial disparity rate by 100.
