The white paper provides a cultural and historical context for a better understanding of Black literacy and educational excellence, how it was disrupted and how it can be restored.
Racial Justice NOW! envisions a world free of structural anti-Black racism in education and beyond. RJN! partners with and organizes across generations of impacted youth, parents, and communities to build and wield peoplepower at the grassroots to advance human rights by challenging systemic anti-Black racism, the criminalization of Black families, and discriminatory policies in education and beyond.
The Wayfinder Foundation is a national 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to fiercely challenging racial inequities within public education and the criminal justice system. We strategically use our voices, our influence, and our resources to engage Black and Brown communities and to advocate for public policy changes at the local, state, and federal levels.
